How to Place Your Order

Our ordering process is designed to be accessible for individuals, families, and organizations of all sizes.

Individual Orders

Individual orders can be placed online through this form or via email at orders@juneteenthnyc.org. Most items ship within 5–7 business days. For items needed before the event, we recommend ordering at least three weeks in advance to ensure timely delivery. Local pickup is available in Harlem at our community office — coordinates and hours are provided at checkout confirmation.

When placing an individual order, simply select the items you need, specify sizes and quantities where applicable, and provide your delivery or pickup preference. All orders include a digital confirmation with your order number, which serves as your receipt.

Bulk & Organizational Orders

Schools, churches, community organizations, and advocacy groups frequently order in bulk to distribute to members, students, or constituents. Bulk orders of 25 or more units qualify for organizational pricing. Discounts increase at the 50-unit and 100-unit thresholds, making it cost-effective to outfit your entire group in Juneteenth NYC gear.

For bulk orders, we require a minimum of four weeks lead time to fulfill properly. Custom printing options are available for orders of 50 or more t-shirts — your organization's name or logo can be added to the sleeve or back panel alongside the official Juneteenth NYC design.

Nonprofits and community organizations may also be eligible for co-sponsorship arrangements that include merchandise as part of a broader event partnership package. Contact our partnerships team to explore options that align with your mission.

Payment Methods & Security

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Cash App, and Zelle for personal orders. Organizational and bulk orders may also pay by check, made payable to Juneteenth NYC, LLC. All online transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store card information on our servers.

For in-person payments at our community office, cash and card are both accepted. A receipt is provided for every transaction regardless of payment method. If paying by Zelle or Cash App, include your order number in the memo field to ensure proper processing.

All sales are final for custom-printed items. Standard merchandise may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt if it is unworn, unwashed, and accompanied by the original receipt. The Black Kings Journal and other publications are non-returnable once shipped.

Shipping & Local Pickup Details

Standard shipping via USPS Priority Mail is available for all orders within the continental United States. Flat-rate shipping is applied to orders under 5 lbs; larger orders are calculated by weight and destination. Expedited shipping is available at additional cost — contact us if you have time-sensitive needs.

Local pickup is offered at our Harlem community office on weekdays from 10am–5pm and Saturdays from 10am–2pm. Pickup orders are typically ready within 48 hours of order confirmation. You will receive a separate notification when your order is ready for pickup with the exact address and parking information.

During the week of the festival (mid-June), a dedicated pickup booth will be available at the main festival grounds. Orders placed before June 1st can be designated for festival pickup, which is a popular option for attendees traveling from out of state who prefer not to carry merchandise home.

Organizations that serve as sponsors, community partners, or event co-hosts have access to an expanded ordering catalog that includes co-branded merchandise options. These arrangements are formalized through our partnership agreements, but the merchandise ordering component is handled through this same order form process.

Faith communities and cultural organizations frequently place large orders for Juneteenth Sunday services — a tradition in many New York City churches of holding special services on or near June 19th to honor the day's spiritual and historical significance. T-shirts, programs, and commemorative items can all be ordered in quantity for distribution to congregants.

Schools and educational institutions placing orders for curriculum materials, including the Black Kings Journal, can request an educator's package that includes discussion guides, historical context documents, and classroom-appropriate activity materials at no additional cost.
